• The Hummingbird is a QR code/Barcode scanner backpack designed to attach to a drone. It can function completely independently from the drone and even can be used hand-held or on other vehicles.

• Hummingbird has its own independent power supply, onboard display and barcode scanner for up to 2m scanning range using the additional DroneScan 3 Watt illumination beam focussed to the scanning area.

• The Hummingbird backpack attaches easily to the drone, which is purchased independently from local suppliers and can be repurposed for other use like inspections. A skilled operator can scan barcodes at a rate of 2 seconds per barcode, 5 seconds per pallet if bin location information is required.The onboard LED lights use a combination of color and pattern to give instant visual feedback to the pilot even, while scanning high pallets.

• The operator connects to the onboard wifi and uses a browser to configure data filters, light and scanner settings and download scanned data.
