Forklift RFID

We have paired a UHF RFID reader with our forklift mounted Buffalo scanning system. The RFID reader scans at a rate of 50 tags per second at up to 12m and these are saved in the correct location.

The DroneScan middleware combines information from multiple sensors, including the RFID reader and is customisable to integrate to your systems.

The Buffalo comes with its own powerful battery that can last up to 8 hours, and can be put on and off the forklift as needed by the driver. No fixed installation is necessary.

The integrated antenna can be complemented by an additional external antenna with an adjustable scanning angle.

Drone RFID

Our drone mounted RFID system is a specially designed RFID reader and antenna for mounting on DJI Phantom and other drones, or used hand-held. It is portable, lightweight and can scan RFID tags at a rate of 3 per second at a range of up to 5m.

The tags are stored onboard in memory and can be downloaded over wifi using any device with a browser. The scanner can also push the data to a web service over the cloud.

The reader can be paired with a GPS receiver to provide precise coordinates of where each RFID tag is scanned, alternatively, special RFID location tags can be programmed and subsequent tags will be assigned to the nearest RFID location.
